“On my old platform I priced logos at $100 and took home $80. Here I charge $85, the client pays less, and I earn more. Both sides win and it still feels like a trick.”
$4,200/monthcommission: 0%
Other marketplaces take up to 20% of everything you make. Gigxie takes none of it: not on your first order, not on your thousandth. One deduction does come off a payout — the card processor's fee, 2.9% + $0.30 per order — which goes to the payment provider, not to us.
No credit card. No commission, ever. Card processing fees apply — the calculator below shows exactly what lands in your balance.
Drag the slider to your gig price. Three numbers, no rounding tricks: what you charge, what the card processor deducts, and what reaches your balance — against the same order on a marketplace charging 20% commission.
Processing rate shown is Gigxie's published default. Buyers pay a separate service fee on top of your price — that is Gigxie's revenue, and it never comes out of what you charge.
From signup to first payout in three steps. Most sellers publish their first gig in under 20 minutes.
Describe what you do, set your own price and delivery time, and add up to three package tiers. No approval queue. You're live the moment you hit publish.
Orders, messages and files live in one workspace. Buyers see your response time and reviews, so good work compounds: every five-star review lifts your search ranking.
Once the buyer accepts delivery, the full price leaves escrow for your balance and the card processor's fee is deducted as its own line — on a $500 order that's $14.80, so $485.20 is yours. Withdraw to your bank or PayPal within 24 hours.

Completing an order writes one ledger row for the full price to the seller. The payments module asserts that the amount released equals the amount held, so a skim can't ship without failing the test suite. The card processing fee is a separate row against your side — visible, and none of it ours.
Three freelancers on what changed when the platform stopped taking a cut.
“On my old platform I priced logos at $100 and took home $80. Here I charge $85, the client pays less, and I earn more. Both sides win and it still feels like a trick.”
$4,200/monthcommission: 0%
“I edit around 20 videos a month. The 20% I used to hand over was my rent, almost to the peso. Moving here was the easiest raise I've ever given myself.”
$2,900/monthcommission: 0%
“Last year the commission on my mixes would have been about $6,000. A decent used synth, gone. Now that money buys gear that makes the next mix better. That's the whole story.”
$5,100/monthcommission: 0%
0% only matters if the order behind it is safe. These four are enforced by the platform, not by a promise in a help article.
Placing an order moves the buyer's payment into escrow that same second. You never work on a promise, and when the buyer accepts, the full price leaves escrow for your balance in one transfer, with only the card processor's fee deducted alongside it.
A buyer can cancel while the order is still waiting to start. Once you've begun, it can't be pulled out from under you: the only way it ends is delivery, and the only way the money moves back is a refund you agree to.
One review per completed order, from the person who paid for it. No drive-by ratings from someone who never hired you, and no way to buy a review into your profile.
No exclusivity clause, no penalty for the work you invoice elsewhere, no cut of it either. Bring the clients you already have, keep the ones you meet here, and leave whenever you like.
The short honest answers, not the legal department's version.
Mainly a buyer-side service fee. When someone orders your gig, Gigxie adds a service fee on top of your price at checkout — 5.5% of the price plus $2.00 by default — and the buyer sees it itemised before they pay. That fee is our revenue. It is charged on top of your price, never taken out of it.
Then two optional seller products: Gigxie Pro subscriptions (two years of analytics, traffic sources and buyer search terms, priority support) and promoted listings for extra placement in search. If you never buy either, you never pay us anything, and your payout is identical either way.
What is not ours: the payment processing fee deducted from your payout — 2.9% + $0.30 per order by default. That goes to the card processor. We pass it through at cost and cannot waive it.
Forever. It's written into our seller terms: Gigxie will never take a percentage of your order value. It's not a promotion we quietly sunset once you've moved your business over. It's the business model.
When a buyer accepts your delivery (or 72 hours pass without a revision request), the full price is released from escrow and the card processing fee — 2.9% + $0.30 by default — is deducted as its own line, so a $200 order clears $193.90 to your balance. Withdraw to your bank account, PayPal or Wise whenever you like; payouts land within 24 hours, there's no minimum balance, and Gigxie takes nothing on the way out.
Any professional service you can deliver digitally: design, development, marketing, video, writing, translation, music, business consulting, AI work and more across our eight categories. You set the scope, the price ($5 to $10,000 per gig) and the delivery time. We only ask that the work is yours and the promises are real.
Not quite. You can link your external portfolio and verified profiles during onboarding, and our team fast-tracks experienced sellers into the Level 1 badge after their first five completed orders instead of the usual fifteen. Your existing clients can order from you here immediately, and you'll both keep more of the money.
