Questions buyers ask before ordering

What does 0% commission actually mean?

The price on the card is the seller's rate, and Gigxie takes no cut of it: no 20% commission, no withdrawal fee. We make our money from a buyer service fee added on top of that price — 5.5% + $2.00 by default, itemised at checkout before you pay — plus optional Pro subscriptions and promoted listings. The seller has a third-party card processing fee deducted from their payout (2.9% + $0.30 by default), which goes to the payment provider, not to us. In practice sellers quote lower here than on commission-based marketplaces for identical work.

How is delivery time calculated?

Every service shows the seller's standard delivery in working days, counted from the moment they receive your brief and any required files, not from checkout. The badge on each card is the standard package; faster turnarounds are usually available as an extra on the service page. Filter by Express 24 hours to see only services that ship inside a day.

What happens if the work isn't right?

Every order includes the revision count stated on the service page, and your payment sits in escrow until you approve delivery. If a seller misses the agreed scope and won't fix it, open a dispute within 14 days of delivery and our resolution team refunds from escrow. Sellers keep their earnings only after you accept.

Do seller levels mean anything?

Yes, and they're earned rather than bought. Level 1 requires 10 completed orders at 4.7+ average. Level 2 requires 50 orders and a 90-day on-time rate above 95%. Top Rated is manually reviewed: 150+ orders, 4.9+ average, and no unresolved disputes in a year. Use the Seller level filter if you want to narrow to the most established sellers.
